Teach2000 for Mac OS X

Do you own a MacBook or another Apple computer? And is the processor Intel based? Than we have good news, because you can install Teach2000 on your computer.

WineBottler is an extra layer that makes an application think it is running on Windows, while behind the curtains Mac OS X is running. Teach2000 can be fooled this way!

In order to start Teach2000 on your Mac you have to do the following:
  1. Download WineBottler from http://winebottler.kronenberg.org. We tested with 'WineBottlerCombo_1.1.44.dmg'.
  2. Install WineBottler like every other application. Click on the downloaded DMG file and move Wine and WineBottler to the application folder.
  3. Start WineBotter. Click on the left side on the button 'Install Predefined Prefixes'.
  4. Select Teach2000 and choose 'Install'.
  5. Enter the filename for Teach2000 (example 'Teach2000Mac' and choose 'Save'.
  6. Follow the installation instructions of the Teach2000 setup. The location to save Teach2000 is C:\Program files\Teach2000. Do this, Wine simulates Windows.
  7. Program contains the new Mac Teach2000 now (example Teach2000Mac.app).
  8. Double click and Teach2000 starts on your Mac!!
Now you can start with your homework :-)

Thanks to the community of Wine for creating it and fixing our reported bugs. Thanks also for Mike Kronenberg for WineBottler and making Teach2000 a prefix. Found a bug yourself? Vote for known bugs? Surf to the Wine Application Database!
