Entering special characters is often a problem. In most countries this is solved by special keyboard. Though some times you wonder how big those keyboards have to be in China ;-)
You already used the Symbols window. This window contains a lot of common special characters.

It is possible to edit the Symbols window. Click [Edit].

It is possible to paste special characters from Word or Charmap.
